This month Drew had four wins and one loss with a 1.40 goals against and two shutouts. As well Drew propelled his team into a second place finish in league standings. Well done Drew. Drew with help from Tyler VanBoekel led the league in goals against with a sparkling 3.03 goals against in thirty six games and a save pct of 9.08 well done fellows! Ideal Supply - Western Junior C BursariesThe Western Junior C Hockey and its official sponsor Ideal Supply are pleased and proud to announce the three recipients of the Ideal Supply-Western Junior C bursaries. Western Junior C players who are enrolled in post-secondary education or who are on track to be accepted to a post-secondary education in the next school year are eligible to apply. The three winners are ... Ben Gowing of the Goderich Sailors Ben, a veteran of the Sailors, is a Brussels native who is currently in his second year at the University of Western Ontario. He is studying civil engineering and has an 80 average. Troy Hill of the Mount Forest Patriots Troy, a native or Rockwood, is entering his final semester at Conestoga College. He is in the business program and has an average of just under 80 per cent. He plans to attend university next year. Jacob Brown of the Hanover Barons Jacob, a native of Hanover and the Barons' captain, is in the business administration program at Georgian College, Barrie campus and boasts a 72 average He is active in the community and after completing his college courses, plans on attending university to pursue a career as a chartered accountant.
